Paris is filled with cultural and art galleries, it is hard to decide which one visit first. The most popular is Louvre, situated in the former residence of royal family. It contains probably the most popular painting in the world – the Mona Lisa. Also, you will find in there huge exhibition of ancient, mostly Egyptian, artefacts. If you are fan of western art you will also appreciate a visit in Museum d’Orsay. Even people who are not fluent in a topic will recognize a lot of paintings by Picasso, Monet, Cezanne or van Goght. People who better like the modern art can go to the Pompidou Gallery. The main exposition is dedicated to the early modernists, like Kandinsky, Chagall, Dali or Miro. However, there are plenty of temporary exhibitions dedicated to the present artists.
